  On flash disks are exposed to the virus sometimes (not always) there autorun.info file in which there is a command to run a virus program. Well, when the flash disc is inserted into the USB drive its autorun feature is disabled then Windows will automatically run a program in the background without any user confirmation.

One way to reduce the risk of getting the virus is to disable autorun feature on USB drives.

  menonaktivkannya way is as follows:

     Click the Start button - Run.
     Type gpedit.msc and press OK.
     Click on User Configuration - Administrative Templates - System.
     2x click on Turn Off Autoplay.
     Click on the Enable option.
     At the option Turn off Autoplay on, select All drives.
     Click OK.
     Completed.

note: gpedit.msc is only in Windows XP Professional.
